Murph heading into the unknown…… Ironman Bolton???
Just to let ye know that the Athlone Triathlon Club running coach Mick Murphy is heading for his first Ironman attempt in Bolton this Sunday. We wish him and all his tullamore friends all the best this Sunday.
We all know that Murph is an absolute beast of a runner but let me tell you that Murph is no slouch on the bike either and is as determined as anyone I know. He has made great progress in the swimming under the guidance of Dave / Charlie in the pool and is all set for his first crack at this Ironman craic. Rumour has it that they won’t resurface the blooms till you give up the training, you’ve all the tarmac ripped up!!!!
Michael, we wish you all the very best in Ironman Bolton on sunday. We’ll be in touch and monitoring the progress. Tell Theresa to have the phone on and have loads of credit…………
